Spotlight: Art Meets Architecture Step into the Fine Arts Building in Downtown Los Angeles and you step back into an era when art and architecture merged with breathtaking panache. A landmark Romanesque Revival hidden gem, the building was constructed in 1926 to house the studios of local Downtown Los Angeles artists. Spotlight: Spring Arts Collective Spring Arts Tower has seen constant change since it was founded in 1915. A remarkable group of five artists – the Spring Arts Collective – have built a steadfast presence with their gallery/studio spaces on the building’s mezzanine. Spotlight: Martha De Perez Martha De Perez, art curator and pop-up exhibition organizer extraordinaire, has been volunteering her time to promote artists in and around Los Angeles for over a decade. Art Walk Audience Age Over 60 % of on-site and social audiences are Millennials; 26% are 38-44 years old, and 13% are 45 and over. GENDER DATA In a recent survey, Art Walk audiences self-identified as 59% female, 40% male, and 1% non-binary. EDUCATION DATA Over 80% of Art Walk audiences have at least an undergraduate degree, while 20% have high school or trade.
